I must have ridden the lower Ocoee eight times before, but it’s always a great way to spend a day. This trip I learned you don’t have to be a life-long rafter to be a guide. I think I may spend a week or two next summer working for Ocoee Outdoors, as soon as I complete my hike-through along the Appalachian Trail.
