Leino on Threadless: Eclipsed!

My roommate designs t-shirts. This is his second that has gone to print through Threadless.com. Snatch one up, pronto! I waited a few weeks to pick up his last (and best) only to learn it was out of print!

Big News for the Holidays

Big news: Elise and I are engaged! We spent Thanksgiving weekend with my folks. They are all pretty excited. You might say I’ve taken long enough, but you can’t rush a good thing. My parents began to consider what they want their grandchildren to call them. The kids explored holiday traditions. Elise is psyched about the wedding dress she scored during her Black Friday shopping spree. This is shaping up to be one of the best holiday seasons in a long time.

Long Hair Julie, Welcome to Georgia!

Long Haired Julie is moving to Gainesville, GA! I read the email a half dozen times before I noticed she wasn’t moving to the coast, but rather just up the road from yours truly! To those who found my site because I accidentally hit “reply-to-all” to LHJ’s email, my apologies! … Bobby Iden!

National Museum Day

Tomorrow is National Museum Day. It is an event sponsored by the Smithsonian Institute during which many museums will grant free admission to anyone that brings in the free coupon. Search for participating museums in your area and print out a free admission card. I am disappointed that the Fernbank is not joining the fun. I hope to visit their Emperial Rome.

Dr. Flyin’ Bryan Op’tHolt

Last week I got word that Flyin’ Bryan has completed his doctorate. His thesis: “Computational Studies of the Structure and Function of Metalloenzymes and the Performance of Density Functional Methods”. He denies it, but I suspect “Metalloenzymes” is an active chemical component in loaf juice. Ol’ boy has a new jeorhb lined up in Stanford. It will take him to San Francisco, possibly as early as this winter. Coden! … Coden, indeed!
