The Burning Crusade Alpha Information
World of Warcraft has over 7 million subscribers (minus 2). After two years Blizzard will soon release the first expansion, The Burning Crusade. Unlike the original game, there will be no open beta and Blizzard is fighting to keep leaked alpha media from reaching the fans. As you might imagine, news like that would score a few hits from the legions of addicts Blizzard has amassed. Today I present you a few links to sites that contain these valuable signs of what is to come. Sprawl’s Scrawl is a great way to brush up on a weeks worth of Warcraft business, development and social news. This particular article focuses on alpha information. WoW Exposed is a blog dedicated to unreleased information about the expansion.
This page includes screen shots from gear that drops in the lowest level instance included in the expansion. Veteran players will notice this easily obtained equipment is very comparable with gear groups of players work for months to obtain. It appears Stamina will be more common on the equipment. Will Blizzard adjust the stats on existing gear? Players debate the merits of working towards this gear over waiting for the expansion.
Con Farm Es Sneff?
It 3 days passed before I broke down and bought The Sims 2. The game is a vivid reminder of how addictive the first one was. In the simulation, I bust my tail to save my sim a little extra time so she can finish her painting, call her sister or make WooHoo with new new guy friend in her new hot tub. Through an odd twist of fate, I bust my tail to shave mere minutes of my daily routine in order to squeeze more of The Sims 2 into my day …or night …or early morning.
I best not talk too much about the game lest I may ramble on and on about the drama my sim’s live out. I’ll limit myself to one short antidote. Yesterday Nina snuck out on a date with her sister’s hubby. They visited the mall which is quite an epic journey for a sim. While she was there she decided to invest some of her hard earned money on a new video game. She chose to buy The Sims: Bustin’ Out. My own energy levels began to droop before I had a chance to let her try her new game. (It was also very difficult to get her to leave Dan’s side and head to her own house.) While I changed into my PJs it struck me: my sim will be controlling a simulation. That might be dangerous. I think it may cause a stack overflow in the Matrix. In the words of Keano Reeves, “Whoa.”
